Famous documentary filmmaker Ken Burns and PBS have made much of his content free until June 30. If you are a lover of history, I cannot recommend his work more highly. If you visit this resource, pay particular attention to the “Full Length Films” section – as of now, there is the full docu-series of The Civil War, which (justifiably) made Burns famous, as well as series on the history of Jazz and the American political dynasty of The Roosevelts.
It doesn’t get deeper or more complex than Ken Burns.
You can also use the search tools on the main page to find shorter videos on American history organized according to era, starting with the Revolution and going up to the present day.
Sketchnote, web-note, watch just for pleasure – regardless, let me know so that I can give you extra credit in Socials.
