You may have seen these 3 colourful creations on the bulletin boards outside our classroom when you visited for Parents as Partners Meetings. We wanted to share with you the process by which they were created. Students worked together, learning and practicing the art of communication (to share their vision, to ask each other for paint colours they were sharing, and to engage with each other as they physically moved around the murals). As they jointly created this art they practiced the skills needed to cooperate and collaborate as well. It was a great team building exercise with a beautiful result.
