Just a reminder to families that this Wednesday students will participate in a virtual Remembrance Day ceremony at school. There will be no school on Thursday for Remembrance Day.
In preparation for the ceremony each class has created poppies.

“We had a poppy outline and tissue paper to make poppies. We got a pencil crayon then we put the tissue paper on the back of the pencil crayon. Then we dipped it in glue then put it on the poppy. It was fun and hard. ” Ava
“Then we put them on a big circle, it turned into a wreath.” Cara
We recognize that the Poppy is a flower of significance to many. We use it as a symbol (a visual reminder) to thank and remember those who fought for our freedoms.
