Today was an action packed day in the garden. We began by collecting leaves to use as mulch in our garden. With some great team work and many breaks we managed to carry all those wet leaves up to the garden space.
Next, Pablo taught us about the garden cycle and discussed the garden rules with us.
Finally the students had a chance to harvest some vegetables from the garden.
We were treated to celery, radishes, fennel, lettuce and some kale.
We saw a few other interesting things in the garden – some lovely flowers and a bee discovery.
