School psychologists are members of school teams who help students learn and succeed in school. They partner with families, teachers, and other school staff to create safe and supportive learning environments, suggest interventions for students, and consult with school staff. School psychologists help with student motivation and engagement, individualized instruction, student progress monitoring, and collection and interpretation of data.
There are a variety of recommendations and resources on this blog that may help with supporting students’ success in school. Please view the academic areas on this blog, and if you need additional information please contact the learning support staff, counsellor, or school psychologist.
