We use fractions to communicate the amount of something in a set.
We reviewed the basics of fractions today, along with the proper vocabulary that comes with it.
When describing fractions, we use the words thirds, fourths, fifths etc. to describe the denominator (the total amount of pieces / parts).

We have been introduced to 2 different ways to multiply 2 by 2 digit numbers. Some of us are familiar with method 1: cross-multiplying and others have found method 2: using expanded form more helpful.
Use whichever strategy works best for you! This lesson should be challenging. Great work keeping up so far! We will continue working towards this on Monday.
