module one post 5 communication

In soccer you will always need to communicate with your team and sometimes to the other team and referee but mostly with your team.with communication you need to to know where to say man on or pass.so that where the math comes in.first you need to to check your surroundings and then look at your teammates surroundings if they have the ball and want to get into space to get the ball. you must  move in open space to get the ball passed to you then you.then you make your run with calculations and with timing and then you have to say pass or here with timing so that they can pass to you quickly while you are in space witch would alow you to switch the ball r have more time. that how communication and math work well.

Module One Post Thirteen (History of Tap shoes)

For my thirteenth post I have found a website that explains how tap shoes were made before they had metal plates on them like they are now. Before metal taps in the 1900-1920’s, tap shoes were only shoes with either pennies or hobnails hammered into the balls and heels of a pair of shoes. Before 1910, tap shoes had wooden soles instead of having nails and pennies hammered into them, however after 1910, metal taps were applied to the bottom of the tap shoes. I think this website is nice for people so see if they just want to know what tap shoes are made of and how they were before.

Module One Post Twelve (How Tap Dance Moved Through the World)

For my twelfth post I have found a website that has some more information about how tap dance started from the Scottish and the Irish, then they brought it to America during the mid 1600’s. This website also explains that tap shoes used to be either wooden-soled shoes or soft shoes, but during the 1920’s, the tap shoes then had metal plates on them with leather on the outside. The people who tap danced were thought of as musicians because when you hit a hard, flat surface, the metal will make a percussive sound. Steve Condos was a man that was considered as the “master in rhythmic tap” because he influenced many well known “hoofers” which were tap dancers that danced with more leg movement and making the sounds more grounded. There were many people that tap danced in many different styles, for example Fred Astaire gave a more ballroom look to the way he danced. This website is good for people that want to know a little bit more about how tap dance originated.

Module One Post Eleven ( How 3D printing works: A look at the science behind the technology)

How 3d printing works: a look at the science behind technology

This website explains how 3D printers can print something that is three dimensional. First there need to be a designing software to design the object. The 3D object is printed by stacking thousands of 2D layers to turn it into a 3D object. This process is explained in the movie Flatland. The site also mentions that the material that can be used to print the objects are unlimited. People have used plastic, rubber and even chocolate. In the future, this technology can enable to let people make all sorts of useful things at home, and our lives would be more efficient.

Module One Post Fifteen (Math in Basketball)

https://digitash.com/mathematics/how-to-apply-calculus-in-sports/

This website show the calculus of the gravity in basketball. How to shoot with gravity and with the force. It show the calculate of the distance gravity.

This helps me because the gravity is also big part of the basketball. The distance of the gravity is better because without gravity it’s going to be hard to shoot

Module One Post Fourteen (Math in Basketball)

http://www.mathworksheetscenter.com/mathtips/basketballmath.html

This website show the how to play professional basketball by using math. This tells you how to do it in the right timing of the time. Show you the foul shot distance to shoot and tells where to shoot. It show the free throw line the distance of the shooting.

This helps me because it’s important to know the distance of the shooting point and the free throw is also important. Being the professional basketball player is good because you need to play smart.

Module One Post Thirteen (Math in Basketball)

https://healthfully.com/how-math-used-basketball-4897212.html

This website show the average score per point. It show the ratios of the assists and passing to players. It show the percentages of the field goal and half court. It show the strategy of the time and timing their shot.

This helps me because it’s important to see the average mark of the scored and the ratios is also important because the passing is all about teamwork so if you pass then you can get the total calculate of the ratios pass. The percentages is important because the half court shot is very hard to shot and is 50/50 percent it will or it won’t make it. The strategy is good because the teammate can know what to do when they shoot and pass.
