Module 1 Post 5 [ The Mathematics of Music ]

The Mathematics of Music

This article has a lot of information ( 17 :”chapters” in total). I trust this site because the author states all the works he has cited. He states in the beginning that math has always been involved with every field of study. He explains a lot of things such as musical scales, which he describes as “musical ladders” because of how the notes get higher every time the scale goes up, and rhythm. 4/4 means 4 beats per measure, after the measure, it repeats and counts up to 4. The author also explains that some genres of music such as rock and roll emphasize on the second and fourth beat of a measure ( one TWO three FOUR) .  I am going to use this site to understand more about how pitch and frequency effects sound.
