This week Ms. Allanson asked the students what they would like others to know about Division 26. We have only been together for a very short time, but already we have begun to grow meaningful connections with each other and with our larger school community, through our explorations and investigations. Every student was excited to share! Here are some of the things the students would like you to know about our community:
The students have decided to take on the challenge of transforming a bulletin board into a space that reflects who we are as a community. The first thing that they wanted to add, was a large rainbow. Together, they decided that oil pastels and a large piece of paper would be the perfect tools to create their rainbow. It got messy, but we discovered that beautiful things come from messy explorations! Take a peek at the process and finished result!
We have continued to add to our board. Currently we are working on adding mushrooms, trees, and photographs. Stay tuned to see how our bulletin board evolves as we keep on growing and learning together!
What have you noticed about Division 26? Post your thoughts in the comments to share with our students!
