Today was a beautiful end to our second full week of Kindergarten. I’m feeling very grateful for the kindness and excitement that the students are sharing with me and each other, as we begin to grow our learning community! Please enjoy an assortment of photos as a little peek into a day in the life of Div. 26!
Here is a little peek of some of the things we can choose to do during Morning Choices:
After attending our first school assembly to recognize Orange Shirt Day, we went on a mushroom hunt! We didn’t find any mushrooms, but with a magnifying glass in hand, Nature never disappoints!
Today we tasted our garden! Our sunflower sprouts were ready to snip and taste! Here are some of the tasting words we used to describe our experience tasting our sprouts:
- Delicious!
- Super good!
- Don’t like it!
- Stinky!
- Sweet!
- Yucky!
- Good!
- Gross!
- Delicious times 10!
- It was ok!
- Nice!
- Green!
What do you notice about the children’s learning? What do you think we should try to grow next? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and with your children at home!
Love,
Ms. Allanson
