Last Week of School!
Hello Parents and Students, We are finishing up our last Monday together for the 2019/2020 school year. What a year it has been! All I can say is it has been a pleasure getting to know all of your through out the year. It has been an honor being your teacher and teaching and learning alongside you both in class and online. Core Competency Self Reflection
Hello Students, As mentioned in our class call today we need to start thinking about our Core Competency Self Reflections for the end of the year. Each year every student needs to reflect on their progress in ONE of the 3 Core Competency Categories: Communication, Thinking, and Personal & Social. This reflection can look many different ways. Math Core Comps Cancelled
Hi Everyone, I’m going to cancel the Math Core Comps for the rest of the year. It seems to be a bit of a failed experiment. These were ideally meant to be done in class in small groups and I was hoping they would translate well to online learning but it seems they are not. Literary Text Assignment Cancelled
Hi Students (and Parents in case the students miss the Teams post) I decided we’ve done enough work with our Battle of the Books books so I’m cancelling the final Literary Text Assignment due next Friday May 8th. You will have a week off of literacy assignments next week, so feel free to spend time doing something that brings you joy, or allow yourself to finish other things on your to do list.
