Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with reading a bit on the states and properties of Matter and categorizing various objects into liquid, solid, and gas categories. Students answered some fill in the blanks and looked at how rocks can change due to various factors throughout the rock cycle.

After, we had snack and DPA. Then, I read a bit to the students. For our sports day activity today, students did a scavenger hunt and then played face cookie where they have to slide a cookie into their mouth from their forehead without using any part of their body to help.

After lunch, students did some research on various steps of the rock cycle in partners and recorded their findings. They also drew a diagram of the rock cycle as well. It is homework if not done.

At the end of the day, we worked a bit more on our optical illusion tunnel artwork.
