Dear parents of Division 2,

I would like to invite you to our annual Volunteer and Parent Appreciation Breakfast to THANK YOU for all your help this past school year. If you have helped us sew, driven or joined us during our field trips, volunteered at any school event or are planning to do so before the end of the school year, please join us this Monday May 27th from 8.55am to 10.15am in the gym to enjoy a continental breakfast as the students perform for you.

Hi all,

Div 2 is currently studying industrial and local food systems, and we could have the opportunity to visit a greenhouse on May 2nd from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. However, this greenhouse is in Delta (Westcoast greenhouse, 3975 46A St., Delta), which is quite far from Westridge. So I will only confirm this field trip if we have enough parents available that afternoon to drive us there and back.

Please email me at audrey.venner@burnabyschools.ca if you could drive on that day, and I will let you know ASAP if this field trip is a go or not.

Today, Div 2 celebrated both the end of term 2 and Pi day in style with apple pies! Thanks to Debra for making this cooking session possible!

Hi parents,

Monday March 4th, we will be going on a walking field trip to Sperling Elementary School for a joint “Concours d’Art Oratoire” celebration with their grade 6/7 French Immersion students. We will be gone from approximately 9am to 12pm.

If your child has an appointment or will arrive late for any given reason that morning, please let me know ahead of time so I know who to account for (and I’ll ask you to please drive them directly to Sperling if at all possible).
