ELL Year End Assessments

Dear families,

It’s time for our year-end ELL assessments! Usually, the assessments are done in school but because of the situation they will take place virtually. I will be in touch in the next two weeks to either schedule an appointment or to provide updates on how I will be assessing your child (e.g. writing prompts, Zoom meetings, etc.).

I wanted to post this update early so you can anticipate that I will be contacting you shortly to coordinate this. The circumstances revolving assessments are unusual and I am still grappling on the best approach as we receive information updates.

Thank you in advance for your patience. I greatly appreciate all of you who have supported educators and who are continuing to support us as we tread through these uncharted waters.
