Last week, we spent time in our community garden and the class wanted to tell you all about it:
Dear families,
We went to the community garden today! We saw insects: we found a fuzzy caterpillar, it was black and orange; we saw ladybugs, a bee, an earthworm, a spider with big legs, a tiny spider, and an ant but its legs were orange! We also saw spider webs, a lot of rocks, and a lot of food! We picked beans and carrots; we found yellow, orange, and purple carrots! We also pulled dead plants and sticks from the garden. We are going to go back again to help the garden get ready for the winter. When we are in the garden, we feel happy, but also a little scared about the spiders. It was so hot in the weather because it’s so bright and sunny today!
Love,
