Today during Science, students discovered how to make an oobleck. Here are some facts about ooblecks and some pictures from our messy experiment 🙂

• Ooblecks:
  • “Non-Newtonian fluid” (scientific name)
  • Fits into 2 different states of matter
  • Solid (when pressure is added) and Liquid (when pressure is removed)
  • Can be made with 1 part water and 2 parts cornstarch (food colouring if desired)

Allow me to introduce myself…. my name is Ms. Benson and I am super excited to be teaching your child this year!
