Good morning Division 6! Happy Friday! This is our last Friday of the year! Enjoy the weekend and remember Sunday is Father’s Day. So have fun! Also, remember that next week is our last week of school!!!! TUESDAY, JUNE 23rd is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. Report cards and personal items will be handed out on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24TH between 9:00 and 3:00. Here’s today’s schedule:
- PE WITH JOE or JUST DANCE videos – Choose between PE WITH JOE or choosing JUST DANCE videos. If you have some other exercise that you found online, then do that. Try your best to get your 20 minutes of exercise every morning. Drink plenty of water and take breaks when needed.
- RAZ KIDS – Please continue with RAZ KIDS for 30 minutes today. Have fun reading!
- POETRY – If you haven’t completed your POETRY PPT PROJECT, please work on it. Create a PPT based on the poems that you have learned: acrostic, alliteration creature, cinquain, haiku, and limerick. For the acrostic poem, you can choose whatever topic you want to write about. For the alliteration creature poem, you can create a new alliteration creature poem, a brand new alliteration poem, or use the same one that you prepared already. Read the instructions for the PPT on MS TEAMS. The due date was last FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH. Have fun creating it!
- MATH – Today, we’re going to take a break from IXL and I want you to spend 30 minutes playing games on COOL MATH 4 KIDS. Have fun!
- SS/CE – if you still have to complete your FAMILY CULTURAL PROJECT, please work on it. The instructions to the assignment have been uploaded to MS TEAMS. The due date for the FAMILY CULTURAL PROJECT was last FRIDAY, JUNE 12. This is supposed to be a fun and educational assignment to learn about your own culture. It is a great time for family discussions and to learn about family history together. You can call or video chat with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins to gain more knowledge if possible.
- PRACTICE TYPING with Dance Mat typing or if you found a website that you like, for 20 minutes.
- MUSIC – Please remember to visit Ms. Fletcher’s blog. Her blog is on the Suncrest website at https://sd41blogs.ca/fletcherp/
- Explore MS TEAMS – You can use the chat option with each other after you have completed the day’s activities. It will be open from 10:30 to 1:30. Enjoy chatting with each other!
