Happy October Everyone!
Here is the weekly plan for the week of October 5th-9th! I look forward to students sharing their learning with me!
Next week I will be setting up one on one Zoom conferences with students to check in with them and do a quick assessment to give me a sense of where students are starting the year! A schedule will be emailed out soon with your child’s time to meet with me.
Learning Focus for the week:
- Author study -Mo Willems
- Number sense- ks working with numbers 1-10, gr 1s working with numbers 1-20
- Using our 5 senses
Special Materials Needed this week:
- Sharpie (permanent marker) be careful, this will soak through paper and mark the surface underneath!

- Please note that this schedule is subject to change. I will send a schedule each week by Friday afternoon.
- Please take some time this week to register for EPIC books. Our class code is: eke9282
- We are still waiting on our IT team to setup our MS TEAMS classroom. When that is set up, I will send set up instructions to you via email. Until then, please follow our weekly schedule and enjoy the week!

It would help to ask everyone to muste before the lesson starts. Hard to hear when everyone has an open mic.
Also, is there any way to increase the volume on you mic, or degrease the volume on the videos? There is a big sound difference.
Thanks for the feedback Fonda. Yes we are working on our attention and listening during our class meetings. Thanks for letting me know about the sound for the videos, I will work on that this week.
