Here are the Kindergarten sight words to work on at home. Choose a few words to work on each week. You can enjoy going on a word hunt to search for the words in books, have fun writing them, or even make up songs to remember the words. Some good techniques to help children remember the words better are:
- use red crayon to write on a bumpy surface and trace the word with your fingers.
- use rainbow colours to rainbow write the word (For example, the word they would be Red t, Orange h, Yellow e and Green y)
- choose a word and do a fun word search while you are doing your home reading. See how many times you can find your word.
