Division 12

We have been building our classroom community and have been learning what it takes to have a peaceful environment.  The children listed some key ideas of what they need to feel safe and respected at school here on our Peace Makers class contract.  Each child attached a cut out of their hand that they signed.

Division 10 had a great time learning more about Fire safety from the experts at Station 1.  The children got to spray the fire hose, sit in the fire trucks, watch the fire fighters show their equipment and ask lots of questions.  We learned that Sperling Station does all the 911 dispatching for Burnaby.  What a fun and educational trip!

Here is a little look into what we have been doing in Kindergarten.  The children are learning so much each day through play and hands on exploration as well as sharing ideas with each other, making predictions and asking questions.  I am thrilled to be a part of this learning!!
