Term 1 Catch-up afternoons

Were you away the day of a test? Did you not earn a passing grade on the test?

If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, then you need a catch-up afternoon! They are in my classroom, E204 and begin ~ 3:10pm.

If you were away the day of the test, just show up at the catch-up afternoon.

If you did not earn a passing grade on the test and would like another chance to show your learning, you need to do the following at least 48 hours before the catch up afternoon:

  • Test rewrite application
  • show me all completed work that was available to help you practice the material (completed cahier, Supersite, worksheets etc)
  • Also remember that you’re welcome to come see me during flex time to get help!

Catch-up afternoon dates:

  • mercredi le 26 oct
  • mercredi le 9 nov – POSTPONED to Tuesday November 15th because Mme Romain was sick
  • mercredi le 30 nov
  • lundi le 5 déc – LAST one for Term 1

Fr8 P8 – lundi le 17 oct

Today we:

  • handed in the signed quizzes
  • played Kahoot to practice body parts vocab
  • completed the Interim self-evaluations
  • worked on the CMML Test #1 review package
    • did the listening sections (and corrected them)
  • gave Mme Romain a sore throat (because people kept talking over her)

For next class:

  • complete the CMML Test #1 review package
  • Cp20
  • if you forgot to bring in your signed quiz, you need to bring it tomorrow!!!! Remember, you’re losing class dojos!!

Aujourd’hui nous avons:

  • complété l’auto-évaluation (Interims) – if you were away today, you need to do this when you come back!!
  • appris l’imparfait vs passé composé (on a utilisé le PPT)
  • travaillé:
    • Cp3-4 #1-4
    • l’imparfait WS (the one we started a few weeks ago)

Pour la prochaine classe:

  • Cp3-4 #1-4
  • L’imparfait WS – because you were working sooooo well, it is now optional! You may want to save this and do it for extra practice before a test. Click here for the answer key
  • nous mangeons le gâteau mercredi!!!!!! Don’t forget to bring something for me to put your slice of cake on as well as something to eat it with…like a fork, a spoon…otherwise you’re eating it with your hands!!
