Fr8 – lundi le 4 janvier

Today we had our first class of 2021 and we:

  • started our new unit, Entrepreneurs en Herbe
  • did the préDictée A
  • learned new vocabulary – Cp3
  • learned -IR verbs (and did some practice on p61 & 62 in the big package)
  • listened to a song that can help us remember the endings for -IR verbs
  • did a listening activity – Cp7
  • learned possessive adjectives and worked on them – Cp6 & pages 63-64 in the big package)
  • Cp5 – vocab

For next class:

  • finish anything you didn’t get done in class:
    • -IR verbs WS – p61-62
    • Cp6
    • Possessive adjectives WS – p63-64

Fr11 – Penpal letters reminder – due mardi le 5 janvier

Your responses are due (hand written) mardi le 5 janvier. Groupe 4b, you can hand them in during class that day, Groupe 4a, come and hand it in either in the morning before school or at the beginning of lunch before you head home.

When you respond to them, make sure to include the following:

  • Answer their questions
  • Tell them about what you did over Christmas/Winter holidays
    • Food – any special meals?
    • Who did you see?
    • Activities?
      • Skiing? Sleeping? Video games? Netflix?
  • Ask them what they did over Christmas holidays:
    • Who did they see?
    • Did they celebrate Christmas?
    • What did they eat? Turkey? Ham? Rice? Pizza?
  • Tell them how the current quarter is going
    • Ask them how it is going for them (if they didn’t talk about it in their letter)
