    Kate and I were wondering if you are available at lunch on Monday to proof-read our speech and poster (although it’s kinda late to do so,) before the presentation on Tuesday.

    Bonjour ms Romain!
    Umm, i had fever and i couldn’t come to school for the last three days and i need (and want ) to catch up on the work i missed

    I came to your class room at lunch today for help (i couldnt come in the morning ’cause i had to go to some other classes and ran outta time ) but i wasnt able to to talk to you

    The thing i know is that there’s an er-verb+être+avoir test and i will come ready for it

      Hi ladies,

      I opened an internet browser and pressed the “print screen” button on the keyboard. I then pasted it into “Paint”, copied the section I wanted to use and then pasted it into a PowerPoint slide. If that doesn’t make sense, come and see me on Monday morning and I’d be happy to show you!

      Good morning ladies,

      Although école is féminin, because it starts with a vowel, we use “mon”. We also don’t need l’ when you’re using a possessive adjective (otherwise you’re saying “my the school”.
      – “Ma amis sont sociable”, think about the fact that amis is plural, how does that affect the adjectives in the sentence?
      – “J’aime jove au volleyball.” & “J’aime joue du piano.” – What do we do when we have 2 verbs in a row?
      – “Je fais du danse.” – Is dance masculin or féminin?
      – “Je suis sociable, et musical” – Are you a girl or a boy?
      – “J’aime faire de patinage.” – is patinage masculin or féminin?
      – “J’aime faire gymnastique.” – what needs to come between faire & gymnastique?

    Umm, what do we need to know for the quiz (i wasn’t there but Sabrina told me there’s a quiz on Monday exept she didn’t really tell me the topic)

      Good morning Shona,

      Sabrina was mistaken, the quiz is not until Wednesday. It is on -re & -ir verbs. You will need to conjugate both types of verbs as well as know the meaning of the verbs that we learned on the powerpoint presentations (I have posted them on the blog under the notes section for this unit).

      There are still some more assignments, a quiz, a test and a project for marks this term, so there will be more opportunities for you to improve your mark!

      Hi Corey,

      The test is identical in structure to the review package that I gave you in class, with the addition of a listening portion.
