Hello everyone!

 

I hope everyone has had a fantastic October. I can’t believe it is already November! I have absolutely loved having each one of the students in my classroom. Each of them have such amazing personalities and it is never a dull moment with them. By now each of you should have received a Spaces.Edu invitation from me. Please let me know ASAP if you have not received one. I appreciate everyone who has joined and who have been commenting on their children’s work and I wish you could hear how excited they are about it in class. We are aiming to post a couple activities every week, but as the students get used to it you may see some bulk posts every couple weeks.

I have sent quite a few students home with some practice duotang and I have explained to the students that this work is NOT due back to me. It is only meant to be further practice in areas that they need some extra support in. I extended the opportunity to every student in the class, and so if a duotang of work went home with your child this is why. if your child did not receive one but you would like one, please just let me know and I can prepare one for them.

My last quick announcement is that we have YPC (Young People’s Concert) on November 22nd. The bus is leaving right at 9:00am and so it is very important that students are arriving at school at 8:45am latest. I will have my classroom doors open at 8:40am so students can come in and get themselves ready. If you know your child will be late ahead of time please let me or the office know so we can make arrangements for them. We will be back at school at approximately 10:45am.
