Snails

Our Friend Brooklyn has been very curious

about bugs! She found some snails on a walk

and took them home for the week to find out

more about them. Brooklyn put some leaves,

sticks, dirt and eggshells in the home she made for them.

The eggshells will make their shells harder and she

has observed that they can sleep a long time too.

Thank-you Brooklyn for sharing your snails with us!

Loose parts

A Great way to focus your Child is by giving them some string, ribbon, wire or paper roll, whatever you have at home. Then find some items around the house or they can find things they can string on to the ribbon, wire or rolls. the younger they are the bigger the stringing item could be example, jar rings on a paper roll. I always feel sorry when I see flowers on the ground so I strung some that were from my garden, makes a Beautiful necklace! The Children can make patterns using a mixture of items Here are some examples I made today, hope you enjoy this hand eye coordinating activity together.
