Hi Parents,
Running the Science Fair is new to us at Aubrey but many schools across BC run them and there are regional fairs for every region of BC. We originally chose our March 10 presentation date in order to nominate some winners to go on to the regional fair but I have since learned that they often fill up before March 10th.
In order to allow some students who wish to try going to the regional fair with judges and awards, students who are able to can show me an in-progress posterboard early next week (Monday or Tuesday ideally).
It’s a great experience, but keep in mind:
The fee for attending is $65 per project plus an additional fee per T-Shirt (optional). Parents will have to bring their child/project to the fair at UBC on Thurs Apr 9 starting at noon.
Parents register their child and input my email address so I can confirm their nomination.
