Meet the Teacher

To the Parents and Guardians of Division 7,

My name is Seina Kashima and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! Please use this page to take a sneak peek into our classroom this year through the posts and pictures. 

Here are a few facts about me: 

• I graduated from Trinity Western University with a major in Education and minors in Special Education and TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language)
• I love sports. I played all of the sports I could growing up and ended up with a scholarship to Trinity Western University playing soccer
• I am half Japanese. I grew up speaking both English and Japanese
• My favourite season is summer, I do not like the cold!
• I am very interested in trying new things in the classroom and finding different and engaging ways for students to learn!
