South Slope students attend music classes 2-3 times a week and explore the elements of music through playing percussion instruments, xylophones, recorders, guitars, ukuleles, handchimes, singing, movement and games. The program is based on the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education valuing participation and imaginative play.
