Division 10 did some crayon rubbing of leaves and acorns using patterns and dried glue.  Then we brainstormed some descriptive words and action words about leaves to write diamanté poems. [metaslider id=2317]

Division 10 made paper turkeys in anticipation of the Thanksgiving weekend.  The turkeys are not only adorable, they also taught us about data collection.  After we made our turkeys, we graphed the information.  Wow! There’s a lot of math going on.[metaslider id=2272]

Division 10 created  patterns using pictures of leaves.  We know that a pattern can have more than two elements and that patterns must repeat.  We can also translate our repeating patterns from picture representations into letters.
