Math: Word Problems, Fractions, Real-Life Math

Writing: 3 paragraph essays, Letter Writing, Persuasive Writing
Science: Space and Extreme Environments, Body Systems
Social Studies: Government, Local Plants (Indigenous Education)
French: Colors, Spring Vocabulary
Ongoing Projects: Space School, Math Knowledge Book
Main Project: Space School, Create a Country (beginning mid-April)

Division 3 is continuing to explore equations. Using the order of operations, students are creating clocks that substitute equations for the numbers on the clock. Many students have chosen to create 3D models and decorate their clocks in creative ways.

Math: Graphing Coordinates, Calculation Curriculum Review (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division), Explaining mathematical thinking
Writing: Story Writing, Paragraph Structure continued
Science: Biomes, Emotions and Self-Regulation (Brain Science)
Social Studies: Natural Resources, Indigenous Circle continued
French: Holiday and Winter Vocabulary
Ongoing Projects: Magazines, Buddy STEM activities
