Truth and Reconciliation!
It was a beautiful Friday with all the students in Division 10 wearing orange, yellow and red in honour of Orange Shirt Day and Truth and Reconciliation. Monday is a national statutory holiday for Canadians to reflect and be informed about the residential school system and abuses. It’s a day to honour the healing journeys of residential school survivors and their families.

On Thursday, October 3, we will enjoy a community building opportunity with all of the primary classes when we visit the Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge. We hope that the field trip will provide us with real life experiences on a farm, with farm animals and the harvest of the season.
