November Love of Snow and Books! – Enchelmaier's Division 10

November Love of Snow and Books!

| Posted in Uncategorized

We are going to be starting December with snow on the ground.  What fun Division 10 had today with sun and snow.

We also watched the Robins and our Garden Squirrel enjoy our red berry tree in the Clinton garden.  It helps continue our journey our classroom inquiry, “What Stories Do The Seasons Share With Us?”

We also want to thank Ms. Hossack for our new book bags.  “I Love Books” is exactly what we say when we thank Ms. Hossack for the opportunity to listen to some amazing stories and take out some interesting books. It is hoped that books will be kept safe to and from school when housed in the book bags.  Please remember to have library books return to school each Tuesday.

During Term 1, we have been building our reading stamina in class.  Students are able to now independently read for 15 minutes as we work toward 20 minutes. In the new year, students in Division 10 will be encouraged to participate in daily reading stamina activities at home.

As we say with our Daily 5 Reading, “Everyday is a Reading Day!”
