January Coming To An End!
We ended our Literacy Week with Reading In The Dark and the encouragement to let the Great Clinton Book Flood flow into your homes so that literacy continues from Family Literacy Day until Family Day and onward. Students brought home reading graphs and many literacy ideas were shared online with families.
Thank you to Ms. Wang, who shared with us the Spring Blessings of the Lunar New Year. The Lunar New Year ends with a lantern festival. We used ink and special brushes to create our Chinese Characters that share the message of prosperity, good fortune and time with family.
Division 10 continues to be Clinton Stars and spread the message of taking care of our Clinton Community while having respect of the space we live, learn and play in. Students created messages of encouragement so that other students would take responsibility for their actions.
Ice is nice when learning about the stages of matter. A cold snap is once again upon us so we are taking the opportunity to try and have water turn to ice or a liquid turn to a solid. We have made some predictions and now we will wait to observe and witness the results of our experiment.
