We have been working with 2D shapes and 3D solids.  We can name, identify and build with these shapes.  We have been on classroom, school and outdoor shape scavenger hunts.  We have experienced some hands-on opportunities working with playclay, marshmallows and toothpicks.

And what were we to do with our leftover marshmallows?  BUILD!  We continued our Arctic Adventures and worked together to build with the sticky cylinders.  We created icebergs and snow forts and snow homes.

We think this was better than making Rice Krispie Squares.
