Students have the entire period to complete their research essay outline. If done early, work on creative writing prompts and/or black out poem for portfolio.

IN CLASS ESSAY on Thurs, May 16. Please ensure you are on time to class as no extra time will be given to complete this essay. Any outline that demonstrates evidence of pre-writing will be confiscated at the start of class. Any unexcused absences Thurs will result in a ZERO for this paper.
REMINDER: grad rehearsal and gown distribution in Pds 3 & 4 tomorrow afternoon.

Students have today’s class to complete their essay outline for “Reservation Dogs” and outlines are being collected at the end of the period. If you were absent from today’s class, it is your responsibility to print off an outline from the link below, and complete it to have for Thursday’s class. You are welcome to come to flex tomorrow AM if you need to finish working on your outline.

Essay will be written IN CLASS starting on May 16th and finishing on May 24. Work will be collected by me in between the two periods. Students are not permitted to use devices whilst writing their essay but you are welcome to use a copy of a dictionary if it’s helpful. Only students with an IEP on file will be given extra time beyond the two writing periods if it’s necessary. Students who miss class May 16 and/or May 24 with an UNEXCUSED absence will not be given further opportunity to work on the essay.
