English 9 (Pd 1 & 3):
Graded work block to complete the BRAINSTORM for both short stories.
Students can bring laptops/tablets to class on Monday if they’d like to do their drafting on a computer. Students are not permitted to write on their phones.
CW12 (Pd 2):
Work period for short story brainstorms. Check point #1 today – full brainstorm must be complete by the end of today’s class.
REMINDER: Check point #2 – 1500 word draft at the end of class next Weds (Nov 19).
English 11CW (Pd 4):
Read Ch 4 in TJP (p. 71-103). Focus on Jung-Sum’s origin story and relate to other literary origin stories.
HOMEWORK: students need to have finished the p. 71-103 for Monday’s class.
Students will have a work block on Monday to complete all journal work in their portfolios.
