Hi families, thank you for taking the time to meet with me for a short conversation about this coming year for each of your children. It was great to know more about your families – your love and support for your child is evident! If we were not able to connect, no worries – we will hopefully touch base soon.
You may have noticed that your child came home today with a “Home Bag” in their backpack. The students voted to use these bags to organize themselves so they will now house their planners, notices, and assignments for travel between home and school. Now it’s a quick pull-out of a bag for everything your child needs to make sure they’re ready for the next school day.
Reminders:
- if your child has any symptoms, please keep them at home – putting a mask on doesn’t protect the rest of us
- visit this website if you’re unsure about planner items and if you want to check on things while your child is away from school and is resting up at home
- and speaking of planners, continue to do a verbal and visual check with your child every night to see if they understand planner items
