Tuesday, June 9th 2020

Dear Division 8,

We’ve all heard about bears, fish, cats and dogs but has anyone ever heard of kinkajous, plated pangolins and the acorn weevil? I know I never heard of kinkajous! I want you to click on the link below and watch a video that interests you the most!

National Geographic: Weird Animals

Here’s another one:

In the comments section below please:

  1. Write 2 animals that you are interested in learning about?
  2. Write 2 facts about each animal?

When you’re done, head over to Microsoft Teams to learn about Perimeter!

Have fun!

  1. I want to learn about kokapo and a mexican axolotl. The kokapo is the only parite that can’t fly in the world! The kokapo can climb with its beaks and claws.

  2. Kinkajous – their back feet can reverse 180 degrees, eats fruits

Golden Lion Tamarins- their long fingers and nails make it easy to dig for food. They eat fruits and insects.

  3. Ms. Binng. i am not going to be at the zoom meeting because i have a dental appointment 🙁 at 11:00 or 11:15. but i will do the rest of the assignments 🙂

  4. I really want to learn about the pangolin and the aye-aye. One fact about the pangolin is that the scales on its body are made from the same material as our nails. One other fact about the aye-aye is they have a weird middle finger to scoop up bugs inside logs.
