Nature Walk – Listening to the sounds around you!

Wednesday, May 20th

Dear Division 8,

Bird, Singer, Singing, Chirp, Tweet, Chirrup, RobinIt’s Nature Walk Wednesday! As you go on your walk today I want you to listen to the sounds around you. When I went for my walk today I could hear: birds chirping, children laughing and the sounds of cars! Please write the sounds you hear in the comments section below.

Please use your strengths to create the beauty of what you heard today. You can draw a picture, make a sculpture, create a painting, sing a song, play an instrument or use your creativity to come up with something completely unique! Once you’re done, send me a picture at Satpaul.Binng@burnabyschools.ca.

Once you’re done your walk, head over to Microsoft teams to complete your plank challenge! Make sure you find a partner and practice! You’re going to be sweating today!

Love,

Ms. Binng

  1. I heard: cars beeping, birds chiping, cats meowing, the wind blowing, planes flying and flis buzzing. 😉

  2. Hi ms Binng. Sorry i can’t go do the nature walk today. But i will tell you what i heard and see on the weekend. I heard geese flying by the beach, children playing by the sand & water, waves crashing by the lake shore, wind blowing on my face, and blue sky, beautiful Harrison lake & snow-cap mountains.
