Production Requirements

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Division 1 and 2 are working on a play called Perseus’ Pursuits. The play runs June 18th- 20th   Thursday June 20th at 6:30 we will have a performance for the families of Division 1 & 2. We are looking to bring props from home that we can use at the play. (Example: pair of shoes, tin can, etc.) here are some of the items that we need for the play:

Torch/flashlight (Zeus)

Basket (Perseus)

• Golden Shield (Athene)
• Knife (Mercury) fake one
• Nike Shoes (Mercury then Perseus)
• Cauldron (Grae Sisters)
• One Eye (Grae Sisters)
• One Tooth (Grae Sisters)
• Tongue of Dog (Grae Sister #1)
• Toad with Wing (Grae Sister #1)
• Hair of Princess (Grae Sister #2)
• Nose of Pig (Grae Sister #2)
• Skinny leg (Grae Sister #3)
• Nuts (Grae Sister #1)
• Woven Bag (Nymphs)
• Helmet (Nymphs)
• Head of the Medusa (Medusa and Perseus)

• Apples (Atlas and Perseus)
• Chains on wrist (Andromeda)
• A rock to throw (Perseus)

If you and your child are able to help bring any props in, please label the item(s) that you send in and give them to your child to bring to school by Friday, May 17th. If the item(s) are unneeded in the play, we will ask your child to send them back. The prop that you choose does not have to be one that your child’s character needs. It can be any prop that you and your child can bring from the list above. Also listed below is the costume breakdown. You only need to find the items for the character your child is playing. We encourage everyone to get found items or borrowed items.
