Check in With Families and Educational Links

Hello All,

It was good catching up with many of you yesterday.  Those of you who I wasn’t able to contact yesterday, I will be trying to call you today and Friday as well.

In the meantime, I have listed below a few links that may help you with your remote learning.

Here is the Ministry of Education’s website to help parents and students start establishing their Learning at Home routines and schedules.  It also has some good activities to help students stay engaged for awhile: https://www.openschool.bc.ca/keeplearning/

Here is the newly launched Burnaby School District’s website to help support learning at home: https://learning.burnabyschools.ca/students/ It has some good grade specific activities for students.

Some of you also requested a link to some free online worksheets.  K5 Learning has a lot of free worksheets that can be sorted by grade, subject and skill: https://www.k5learning.com/

I appreciate your patience during these unusual times.  Please don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions.
