Outdoor Classroom Day

Thanks Mrs. Karvelis and division 8 for a fantastic day! So many fun things to do outside!  Check out these beautiful nature mandalas…what a way to demonstrate our knowledge of symmetry.

Go Green!…and Blue!…and Red!…and Yellow!

Capitol Hill’s Sports Day is coming…

Please join us on Friday May 19th from 9-12:30 for a morning full of fun!  Students from Kindergarten to grade 7 will be participating in a variety of activities meant to encourage cooperation and teamwork with a little bit of healthy competition thrown in!

Pre-order your child’s lunch or visit the PAC concession for refreshments and snacks.  See you there!

Letting off some S.T.E.A.M.!

So glad to see so many families come out to create with their children!  Stay tuned for some photos.  Thank you Mr. Kanno, Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Graafen, and Ms. Sewell. You made this night a huge success 🙂

Family STEAM night!

Families are invited to attend our STEAM night on April 27th in the Multipurpose room.  Come and explore, create, and play!  6-7pm.  Please RSVP so we can plan our materials. See you there!

Report Cards

Just a reminder to sign the envelope and return it to me at your earliest convenience.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come chat with me, call me, or send an e-mail.

Spring has Sprung!…finally

Was that sunshine I saw the other day?  Just a reminder to dress appropriately for the weather.  Although it seems nice and warm, the air is still cool and the rain has not left us completely.

Valentine’s Day

It was such a crazy, busy, fantastic day today that I forgot to give my students our class list.  If you choose to hand out cards, please consider including everyone.  Instead of including the names here, students can write their cards on Tuesday with me. They could always challenge themselves to remember all 20 names! Trust me, that’s not always easy 🙂
