Last Day of School!

Division 2! Today marks the official last day of school! I have loved being your teacher this year, and am so grateful for all of the learning we have done together (even while apart!). You are amazing, thoughtful, creative, and a whole bunch of other great adjectives.

I will see some of you or your parents tomorrow during your scheduled report card pickup times. If you have already picked up your report card AND dropped off your textbook, I will miss seeing you!

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFO: I am still missing a copy of The War That Saved My Life. If you have it, please let me know, and return it to the school!

We must follow social distancing protocols, just as we did when you picked up your school supplies and paper work packets. When picking up report cards:

  • Please pick up at your scheduled time from the outside door nearest our classroom
  • Please minimize the number of people visiting the school to pick up (there will be students from other classes, so the school grounds will be busier than before)
  • Please maintain 2 metres of distance from others while on the school grounds

Please see the schedule below. If you have any issues with the assigned time, please let me know. Those not on the schedule have arranged another pickup date with me.

  • Miss Anderson it was a pleasure having you as Reyhans teacher.
Thank you for allowing us to look after Gilbird over the Xmas holidays.
    So much changed in 2020!
I appreciate all the students, parents, teachers and administration staff making accommodations and “rolling with the punches” as we had to adapt to the pandemic and all the challenges it brought along.
I’m sorry all the graduating classes of 2020 missed out on a proper celebration with their friends and family. What a year!
However, you are all healthy and safe and this is what matters!
I wish for you and everyone a safe, healthy and happy summer.
Ms Anderson, I hope our paths cross again in the near future.
    Have a lovely summer everyone.

    • Thank you Shairose! It has been a pleasure to be Reyhan’s teacher! I admire all the parents who have taken on extra roles, such as teacher or tutor, over the last several months! You are incredible. I hope you have a healthy, safe and fun summer! All the best.
