This is a reminder to parents to check for the survey sent out by the District about the return to school on June 1. We need to know if you are planning to have your students return to school so that we can plan for class sizes. For our class, the Grade 5s will have the option to return 2 days per week, likely Monday and Tuesday, and the Grade 6s will have the option to return 1 day per week, likely Thursday. Online learning will continue for those who stay home.
The workload will not be different for students whether or not they attend school in the building. (That means that if students do come to school they will not have extra work.)
School hours will follow a regular school day (8:50-3:00), though recesses and lunches will be staggered with other classes, and classes will be at half the size as usual. There will be a daytime and an evening custodian to make sure that the building is cleaned twice daily. We will do our best to maintain physical distancing throughout the school day.
Please complete the survey sent by the District by Monday, May 25 at 9:00 am, so that we can plan for the return to school the following week. Please wait to hear from us about days and times before sending your child to school.
I would like my daughters to continue the online learning (classes) from home.
