    This Week in Division 16: February 16-20

    Hi Families, I hope you have a good long weekend! Here are some reminders for the week: Monday, February 16 Family Day – no school Tuesday, February 17 Happy Lunar New Year! Library books are due Wednesday, February 18 100 days of school celebration!  Your child is invited to dress up as a grandpa or grandma who is 100 years old! or they can dress up in fancy clothes as well! You are welcome to bring treats for the class as long as they are peanut and gelatin free. Students will be making necklaces with 100 Froot loops!

    This Week in Division 16: February 2-6

    Hi Families, We had a fun literacy week! I will share a post about that soon. It rained a lot today! Please bring extra clothes for your child in case they get wet from puddles or mud. Thank you! Here are some reminders for next week: Tuesday, February 3: -Library books are due Wednesday February 4: -Literacy Bingo forms are due. -Pizza, Popcorn and Juice cash forms are due. If you already order online, you don’t need to use this form.

    Hi Families, Next week is Literacy Week at Morley! Here are the reminders for the week: Monday, January 26 -Literacy Bingo forms go home. -Hockey after school program form is due. Please be aware that not everyone will get a spot as there are limited spots available for each grade. Tuesday January 27 -Library books are due -Hot lunch payments are due Wednesday, January 28 Reading in the dark with our buddies. If you have a flashlight, please put it in your child’s backpack.     Hi Families, It is the last week of school before winter break! There will be a lot of fun activities happening this week for students. I hope you all have a nice winter break and happy holidays! Here are some reminders for the week: Tuesday, December 16: -Library books are due! -Cookie sale – grade 7 students will be selling cookies for $2 to help support their camp field trip in the spring.     This Week in Division 16: December 8-12

    Here are the reminders for this week: Tuesday, December 9: -Return your library books! -Pancake Breakfast and Pajama Day! We have Burnaby firefighters helping us to make pancakes for our annual event! The time slot we got for this day will be around 9:30AM, so please still have your child eat breakfast in the morning if they are hungry. -Students are also encouraged to be extra comfy on this day by wearing pajamas! This is optional! You can just wear comfy clothes instead and students can bring ONE stuffed animal (such as a teddy bear). **Hot lunch envelopes will be given to students who pay with cash next week. You…

    Hi Families, We can’t believe that it’s already December! The weather is getting colder for sure! Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring extra clothes for your child. It’s a good idea to bring 2 extra pairs of socks as well since students like to play outside. Here are some reminders for the week: Tuesday, December 2: Please return library books. Friday, December 5: Winter Concert This year’s Winter Concert is based on the book Where the Wild Things Are. Students have been busy rehearsing and creating decorations for the show.
