I have learned that starfish aren\u2019t fish but still have gills.<\/p>\n
I also learned that there are over 2,ooo species of starfish in the whole world.<\/p>\n
Starfish have spines to protect them from predators.<\/p>\n
Starfish don\u2019t have eyes they actually know when theirs light and when it\u2019s dark. They hunt for things slower than them because their locomotion with means ability to move from one place to another is very low in speed.<\/p>\n
Starfish have mouths on the underside they go on top of them and start eating.<\/p>\n
Starfish actually regenerate to grow their rays (legs) back, if they do not get enough nutrition and goes more than 3 days without water they regenerate slower or stop regenerating.<\/p>\n
They have tube feet that allow their legs to stick to anything and move their rays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
