Hi Goobers,

I hope you’re staying safe and entertained, and not driving your families too crazy!! 🙂

For today’s boredom busters…

  • You can check out Burnaby’s website by clicking here for a few various activities in different subject areas!
  • Need to get moving? Click here for a link to Just Dance YouTube videos to get you up and moving!
  • Not in to dancing? Try some Yoga! You can click here, or you can click here for a Pokemon inspired yoga session.
  • Did you finish your perspective art yet? One point or 4 perspective? You can always try drawing the style you haven’t done yet!
  • You can also try one of these fun videos to create a folding surprise art piece. Click here for a folding surprise puppy stack, click here for folding surprise shark, click here for surprise poke ball
    • Or explore the YouTube videos on the side of those links for different folding surprise art pieces!
    • You can take pictures of your art and email them to me! I would love to see them
  • Yesterday was April Fool’s Day and I’m sure some of you goobers had plans of sneaky prankster tricks to pull on your lovely unsuspecting teacher or classmates. You can write about what hilarious (safe and kind) tricks you were planning to play.
    • You can also check out this Mystery Science Video all about April Fool’s Day by clicking here.
  • Don’t forget to read each day! 30 minutes is ideal! I’ve heard that some of you have been reading up a storm and that makes me SO happy! I finally finished the Unwanteds series, books 6 and 7. They were fantastic and I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already!
    • Don’t have anything left to read at home? Try Tumblebooks on the school’s library webpage!
    • Look under reading and writing, it’s the last bullet point.

Take care and be safe. Miss you all!!!

<3,

Ms. Yee
