Dear Families,<\/p>\n

As we move more on to more online learning, I\u2019m planning on posting \u201cYou Tube\u201d links to supplement the lessons. \u00a0\u201cYou Tube\u201d provides many amazing videos to support our learning. \u00a0However, sometimes, your child may come across inappropriate content for your child\u2019s age. \u00a0While we might not be able to protect what our children sees 100% of the time, we can try to support them in ways we are aware of.<\/div>\n

I hope you can spend some time setting up the content restrictions on your web browser in \u201cYou Tube.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It may be beneficial to set the restrictions on all the devices that your child will be using during this time of increased online learning opportunities.<\/div>\n

How to set up restrictions:<\/h2>\n

1. \u00a0Open \u201cYou Tube\u201d on your browser<\/p>\n

2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right corner of the \u201cYou Tube\u201d page.<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0You will see the \u201cYou Tube\u201d settings on your device.<\/div>\n

4. To change the restricted mode on the \u201cYou Tube\u201d browser, click on the setting, and then you can \u201cactivate restricted mode,\u201d \u00a0by sliding the bar over.<\/div>\n

5. \u00a0Now you should see the restricted mode: On<\/div>\n

By setting the restrictions on, it may not be 100% accurate, but it will help filter out comments and videos of mature content.<\/div>\n
