Dear students,<\/p>\n

We are division 11 at Brentwood Park Elementary School. We are a class of 19 students, made up of grade 3 students (age 8 & 9). We have two classroom teachers Ms. Walji and Ms. Basso. Our music teacher is Mr. Yanko.<\/p>\n
This week in music we listened to many traditional Canadian songs, then we chose our favorite ones and voted on a song to share with you. The song that we chose is called \u201cDonkey Riding.\u201d <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It is a song used on boats to make time go by faster. Sailors would sing the song while doing work, such as turning a big wheel (capstone) to raise the sails, or loading and unloading cargo off the ship.<\/p>\n
Some questions for you: How old are you? What grade are you in? What is your teacher\u2019s name? How many students are in your class? What languages do you speak in Greece? What city are you in?<\/p>\n
