We are learning about repeating patterns in Math. We learned that a repeating pattern has a core that repeats at least three times. AB, ABB, AAB, and ABC are examples. You can create a pattern in a variety of ways- things, size, shape, colour, and material. Using this knowledge, the students applied their learning by creating patterns with a variety of items.
Take a look at some of the patterns the students created! Can you name the pattern core (i.e. AB, ABC, AAB, or ABB)?

Extension: Create patterns using items found at home.
